Meet Our Vestry
What is a Vestry?
In The Episcopal Church, a Vestry serves as the representation of the laity in matters of church governance, church property, and church finance. The number of Vestry members and the term of office varies from parish to parish, but at All Saints we generally elect 2-4 Vestry members each year to serve three year terms. Vestry members are elected at the annual parish meeting in January. The Vestry officers are the Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Treasurer, and Clerk. The basic responsibilities of the Vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of All Saints; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage our parish’s resources and finances. Have a question, idea, or concern about All Saints? Don’t hesitate to reach out to a member of our Vestry!
